Soluble in oil, acetone, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, carbon disulfide  and ethanol, hardly soluble in petrol, insoluble in water, discolor when  exposed in air and sunlight, low toxicity.

IPPD is a p-phenylenediamine rubber anti-aging agent. It has good compatibility with rubber, is not easy to spray, is not volatile, has low toxicity, and has excellent anti-oxidation, anti-ozone, anti-curvature cracking and sun-dried turtle. Cracking, has a strong inhibitory effect on harmful metals such as copper and manganese, and is suitable for  all kinds of synthetic rubber and natural rubber. It has good dispersibility in the rubber compound and softens the rubber compound, and has little effect on the vulcanization. It can be used in various rubber products such as tires, and also as a thermal oxygen stabilizer for polyethylene, polypropylene and acrylic resins.
